The Dalton House

The Dalton House...where Hope and Connection Embrace you...

The Dalton House is a lighthouse for children/individuals, communities, families, and schools, to find refuge, support and education relating to trauma, grief, and loss.

The Dalton House

Our Vision

Improve access to programs, support, and resources, so that no child/individual or family is left to navigate trauma, grief, and loss alone.

At The Dalton House, children and individuals will engage with staff members, volunteers, as well as others who have faced similar challenges, and learn that trauma and loss does not have to limit their hopes and dreams.

Children, families and grieving parents will have access to support groups, counseling and resources. All of our resources go directly to providing children and their families a safe place to connect, share, grieve, and grow. Currently, all staff members of The Dalton House are volunteers.

At The Dalton House, children will meet other children, families will meet other families, and parents who have lost children will meet other parents who have lost children.  Program and support group attendees will create strong bonds with others who have faced similar events.  Our support groups and 36 week resiliency building program will be provided at no cost to you and your family.
