Child Loss Grief Support Group

Location: ZOOM / Will resume in june 2024

This group is FREE and is for parents who have lost children. We are sorry for the circumstances, loss and pain that brought you here, but so thankful you found us.

Each loss is incredibly unique and not one grief journey is the same. We do not pretend to understand the uniqueness of your journey through grief and loss, but we can say, many parts of your journey are familiar to us. We know the pain of losing our only son, leaving our family devastated and fundamentally changed forever. We also have learned; there is no way around loss, only through. You are in your Wilderness of Grief and we are here to walk with you as we navigate our journeys together. We look forward to getting to know you.

To prepare, I encourage you to purchase Dr. Alan Wolfelt’s Understanding Your Grief, 2nd Edition and The Understanding Your Grief Journal, 2nd Edition. This support group will be meeting twice per month for 3 months. If you are unable to obtain the materials,  please mark the option on the form and we will send them to you.

Please fill out the form below to receive the Zoom link for the weekly meeting by text message and email one week before the meeting begins.

Losing a child is a uniquely challenging and devastating event. The child loss journey that follows can be isolating and leave you thinking you are alone in your feelings and experiences.

You are not alone. We refer to our grief as grief waves and tsunamis. We exist to help you navigate your way through. We have found great understanding, comfort, care and beautiful relationships that develop in our child loss community here at The Dalton House. We hope you will come cry with us, laugh with us, journey with us, and share your precious child with us.
